ACTION ALERT - HB 3739 - Nursing Delegation

A hearing is scheduled on February 7th in front of the House Health Care Licenses Committee for HB 3739 - this bill wants to remove the ability for RNs to delegate in community settings.

Please tell the committee that nurses do not support HB 3739.  For over six years, the expanded definition of delegation has led to better care coordination by registered nurses in community settings, especially in our schools.

TAKE ACTION - SIGN A WITNESS SLIP TO SHOW YOU OPPOSE THIS BILL AND CALL THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS!

Tell them - Registered Nurses are not physically present 24/7 in community settings or a patients' homes. Registered Nurses work with a team of individuals to ensure that patient care is delivered safely and effectively.  Ask them to please vote NO on HB3739.  Let's not go back but forward in improving access to care in Illinois.

Please take the opportunity to have your voice heard.
